DESCRIPTION

Our client is an established IT company and require an energetic and enthusiastic professional sales person to join their team to help drive new business growth of B2B sales selling systems, specialist labels, hardware and consumables.  Client base ranges from smaller independent business to large companies but typically SME’s.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Deal with sales enquiries from new and existing customers

  • Proactively grow existing accounts and develop new business

  • Understand customer requirements and identify suitable products and services

  • Manage and maintain customer and supplier details

  • Uncovering Client requirements through consultation

  • Negotiate, generate and follow up Quotations

  • Close deals and process Sales Orders

  • Maintain good personal relationships with key suppliers

  • Support with product strategy and market research

 

Essential Skills & Experience

 

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar role selling B2B software or hardware solutions.

  • Remote demonstration and training of software systems

  • Ability to communicate to senior decision makers and identify customer’s existing and future requirements.

  • Good understanding of business practise and strong commercial awareness

  • Able to work with existing sales, marketing and technical team to develop sales strategies and to design, adapt and streamline product offering.

  • Liaise between Customer and Development team to prepare accurate technical specification.

  • Self-motivated and driven to work with the team to close business in a timely fashion through good negotiation.

  • Good administration skills, well organised and thorough, even under pressure

  • Knowledge of Warehouse Operations, Stock Control and Asset Tracking

This client are seeking someone who ideally has worked for a tech firm from a marketing perspective, working in the pharma sector is not a prerequisite, however being able to demonstrate success with B2B campaigns from a global perspective
