DESCRIPTION

My client is an established IT company, they are hiring an energetic and enthusiastic professional Internal Sales professional to join their team to help manage, process & drive new business growth of B2B sales. 

As a business they sell specialist labels, hardware, and consumables which in turn may result in sales software solutions. Client base ranges from smaller independent business to large companies but typically SME’s.

 

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Deal with sales enquiries from new and existing customers

  • Proactively grow existing accounts and develop new business

  • Understand customer requirements and identify suitable products and services

  • Manage and maintain customer and supplier details

  • Negotiate, generate and follow up Quotations

  • Close deals and process Sales Orders

  • Maintain good personal relationships with key suppliers

  • Support with product strategy and market research

 

Essential Skills & Experience

 

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar role selling specialist labels and associated products

  • Ability to communicate to senior decision makers and identify customer’s existing and future requirements

  • Good understanding of business practise and strong commercial awareness

  • Able to work with technical team to produce accurate specifications, design, adapt and streamline products offering

  • Self-motivated and driven to work with the team to close business in a timely fashion through good negotiation 

  • Good administration skills, well organised and thorough, even under pressure
